cattle, goats, and sheep. However, over the years conditions have changed, and as land
has become scarce, the people have settled down and taken on cultivation as an additional
activity. Evidence of farming can be seen in the 1990’s satellite image and larger farming
areas can be seen in the zoomed image of October 2003. The major cash crops are Banana
and coffee. Food crops include maize, millet, beans, potatoes and ground nuts.
