RESOLUTION NO. 13- 179
AUTHORIZING CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR THE COUNTY'S FINANCIAL ADVISOR
WHEREAS, proposals have been solicited and received in 2011 for financial advisory services
for the planning and issuance of debt; and
WHEREAS, the County has a current contract with Speer Financial, Inc. to provide financial
advisory services and the current contract may be extended upon mutual consent; and
WHEREAS, Speer Financial, Inc. has committed to extend their current contract for six (6)
months with no price increase, and.
WHEREAS, adequate funds have been budgeted and are available for this expense.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kane County Board that the Chairman of the
Board is authorized to enter into a contract extension with Speer Financial, Inc, Chicago, IL.
