Changing Approved Treatment Fields
If the machine characterization of the treatment machine or patient treatment plan
changes, you may have to change an approved treatment field definition. If you
change an approved field, the status of the field automatically changes to Unapproved.
You have to re-approve the field before treatment, unless you configure MOSAIQ to
let you copy couch parameters and change field notes without changing the status.
Both are included in the exercise that follows. When you have re-approved the
treatment field, you can open the Field Delta View dialog box to show all versions of
the treatment field. In this exercise, you will change an approved treatment field, reapprove
it, then open the Field Delta View dialog box.
1. In the Diagnoses and Interventions window, double-click the 3 LAO Lung
treatment field.
Opens the Treatment Field Definition dialog box.
2. Type 90 in the Collimator Angle field.
Specifies the collimator angle for the treatment field.
3. Type 3 in the Open MU field.
Specifies the MU for the open portal image.
4. Type NONE in the Bolus field.
Specifies that no bolus for this treatment field, shown in Figure 95.
