The Faculty holds the 18th place in the CENSIS Servizi s.p.a. 2009 (Italian university ranking).
In this ranking 22 universities were examined according to their didactics, productivity,
scientific studies and internationality.

Projects last one semester with the exception of the ‘Laboratorio di Sintesi’ which takes up a
year.
As is the norm in Italy, the university provides study halls (Laboratorio) for all students. Students
don’t have fixed work desks; they rather work within open plan spaces where students can
bring their own laptop.
The Laboratori consist of a theoretical part (lecture) and a practical part (project) and tend to
last one to two years.
It is also possible to develop a portfolio as the final project. The aim is for the student to follow
and present his or her own development. As part of the portfolio, students revisit projects they
have worked on before. This type of final project takes approximately six months to complete.
