seminar <strong>of</strong> choice.<br />

programmes into Bachelor and Master, the ECTS- Credits <strong>of</strong> Assessment II do not match the listed<br />

Projects are allocated through a lottery system. Students initially pick 3 projects they would prefer<br />

working on providing a short text to explain their choices.<br />

Each course <strong>of</strong>fers room for approximately 15 students. Two courses share a room in which all<br />

work together.<br />

Each week the pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong>fers personal tutorials at certain times during which he is present in the<br />

room. Students can sign up to those individually or in groups.<br />

Since most students work together it is common for supervisors to come in spontaneously to<br />

answer queries and to inspect the works. It is mostly the pr<strong>of</strong>essors themselves that supervise the<br />

groups while additional guest critics are invited for end <strong>of</strong> term presentations, <strong>of</strong>ten from abroad,<br />

many <strong>of</strong> whom teach themselves at other universities.<br />

Projects are worked on individually or, less commonly, in groups <strong>of</strong> two. Very rarely are projects<br />

worked on in larger groups.<br />
