The Politecnika Krakau offers a seven semester long Bachelor study programme and a three
semester long Master programme with each 30 Credits per semester. In the first cycle at least 210
ECTS Credits need to be achieved, in the second at least 90 credits. 1 Credit equates to one hour
(advised) per semester.
In the context of the bachelor and master study programmes the following programmes are offered:
- Architecture and urban planning (1st and 2nd cycle)
- Landscape planning (1st and 2nd cycle)
Beyond this, the faculty offers a postgraduate master programme in architecture and urban planning,
historic building preservation and landscape planning as well as a concentration in preservation.

Compatibility Study 2010/2011
At the Politechnika Krakowska one design studio project is held per semester for the first three
semesters. The students work at the university (attendance is required). Advising also takes place
here. The advising is offered for the entire studio group and often takes a long time.
Not all students can always be advised at the same time, however one can learn from the advising
and work of other students. Individual working spaces are not provided. Apart from the advising
there are 2 - 3 colloquia per semester at which, too, attendance is required.
