The university in Prague offers a three year bachelor and a two year Master programme in the
Cheque language. The Master is also offered in the English language but with fewer courses.
Erasmus students are largely integrated into courses taught in the English language.
Per year there are approximately 200 students (first semester) and a total of 45-50 professors.

The design studios have a duration of one semester and are, similar to the RWTH, offered by the
professorships. Each professor has his own studio space in which between 8 and 12 students can
find a working space.
There are approximately 45 such professorships, each which offer at least one design studio per
semester.
The students work in the studio space for two days a week and receive consultations. For the rest
of the week they work at home.
The consultations are organised either as a group or individual consultation.
Usually the students are advised individually or in groups by the professor in the according studio
space during which time the remaining students continue working.
The nature of the individual consultations can vary and depends on the professor.
Special design studios are often offered for the Erasmus students in the English language.
This is a disadvantage, in so far that the foreign students are not integrated into the normal study
programme.
The final colloquium takes place for all students on the same day.
On this day all plans must be presented and remain on view for one week. During this week all
professors evaluate the plans. In some cases further separate design work is demanded.
