Once a week students assemble within the Laboratori. Attendance is compulsory.
As is the norm in Italy, the university provides study halls (Laboratorio) for all students. Students
don’t have fixed work desks; they rather work within open plan spaces where students can bring
their own laptop.
Assistants organize tutorials and most of the time the professor is present.
The final work is usually a project but it can also be a thesis. The work can cover traditional fields
such as architecture and city planning or a combination of architectural and related subjects such
as theatre or scenography.
