Mr. NiTTLE. Are you a member of an organization known as<br />

<strong>Women</strong> <strong>Strike</strong> <strong>for</strong> Peace?<br />

Mrs. Freed. <strong>Women</strong> <strong>Strike</strong> <strong>for</strong> Peace is not an organization. It<br />

is a <strong>movement</strong>.<br />

Mr. NiTTLE. Does it have members?<br />

Mrs. Freed. No, it does not.<br />

Mr. NiTTLE. Now, Mrs. Freed, that is <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g. If a group has<br />

no organization and has no members, how <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> world does it function?<br />

Mrs. Freed. Well, it is quite remarkable. Sometimes I wonder,<br />

myself.<br />

Mr. NiTTLE. Yes, it has appeared to me quite remarkable, too.<br />

But as a matter of fact, <strong>Women</strong> <strong>Strike</strong> <strong>for</strong> Peace is organized; isn't<br />

it?
