Peace Committee has been scheduled to meet monthly, with featured<br />

speakers; that this group had recently a paid-up membership of<br />

approximately 95 persons and ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>ed a mail<strong>in</strong>g list of approximately<br />

800 persons; and that <strong>the</strong> West vSide Peace Committee ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>s<br />

a representative on <strong>the</strong> Conference of Greater New York Peace<br />

Groups.<br />

Could you as secretary of <strong>the</strong> West Side Peace Committee corroborate<br />

this <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation?<br />

Miss Cl<strong>in</strong>ton. I stand on my previous answer.<br />

Mr. NiTTLE. Do you know Henry Abrams, <strong>the</strong> chairman of <strong>the</strong><br />

Conference of Greater New York Peace Groups?<br />

Is that <strong>the</strong> official address of <strong>the</strong> West Side Peace Committee?<br />

Mr. Doyle. May I ask that you be a little bit more explicit, <strong>in</strong>stead<br />

of just say<strong>in</strong>g "same"?<br />

Miss Cl<strong>in</strong>ton. I shall repeat what I said be<strong>for</strong>e. I question<br />

Mr. DoYLE. That wiU be unnecessary, if you will just say "<strong>the</strong><br />

same as my previous answer."<br />

membership chairman of <strong>the</strong> West Side Peace Committee by any<br />

person known to be a member of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Communist</strong>^ Party?<br />
