I feel very delighted to hold World Choir Championships<br />
Korea <strong>2009</strong>, one of the global choral<br />
<strong>com</strong>petitions, within the city of Changwon<br />
and other three cities in the season of deep<br />
green summer.<br />
Thus, I would like to extend a heartfelt invitation<br />
and appreciation to the all of residents<br />
in Gyeongnam and the visitors across the<br />
nation.<br />
Changwon has established its reputation<br />
for a dynamic economy and vivid entrepreneurship,<br />
along with the beautiful nature<br />
and long-standing history ever. It also takes<br />
diverse environmental policies to be the one<br />
of the environmental capitals. Among them is<br />
to be able to bring about a festival of "<strong>2009</strong><br />
Changwon Bike World" as a bike city, which<br />
garnished the grand final for the first Korean<br />
Bike Festival.<br />
In spite of a difficult time in terms of economy,<br />
a variety of enchanting choral festivals and<br />
concerts residing in hope virus can transform<br />
our own hope into the very essence of hope<br />
for the whole nation.<br />
I would like to express my appreciation to the<br />
chairman of World Choir Championship Organizing<br />
Committee, Mr. Yong-jin Kim and other<br />
organizers to take great efforts to ensure the<br />
resounding success of the event. I hope each<br />
