고 만들 수 있는 기회를 제공한다<br />
한옥체험관<br />
우리고유의 전통한옥생활을 체험하<br />
고 선조들의 슬기와 지혜를 배울<br />
수 있는 김해한옥체험관은 국내․<br />
외 관광객들이 직접 숙식을 하면서<br />
체험할 수 있는 프로그램이 운영된<br />
다. 특히 체험관 곳곳에서 전통문<br />
화·민속공예·전통의상 체험 등을<br />
할 수 있다.<br />
Gimhae, ancient seat of Karak country, is<br />
continuously making rapid progress with a<br />
new modern city features based on glorious<br />
ancient Kaya culture. Numerous cultural remains<br />
are found here and there that you can<br />
feel King Suro‘s country foundation tale and<br />
the traces of brave Kaya warriors. Gimhae<br />
International Airport nearby is a gateway for<br />
Busan and Gimhae.<br />
Clay Arch Museum<br />
The word ‘clay arch’ is a <strong>com</strong>bination of ‘clay’<br />
and ‘architecture’, meaning the mutual collaboration<br />
of the two. It aims the future development<br />
of ceramic architecture through<br />
collaboration of science, art, education and<br />
industry.<br />
Royal Tomb of King Suro<br />
Considered a symbolical historic site of Gimhae,<br />
it is a tomb of King Suro, who founded<br />
Gaya Dynasty in 42 A.D. and the father of Kim<br />
and Heo family of Gimhae and Yi family of<br />
Incheon. A legend says that the name ‚Suro‘<br />
means that he was born first in an egg. Passing<br />
through Nabreung Gate on which two<br />
fishes symbolizing the queen‘s home, Ayuta<br />
of India are painted, you can reach the magnificent<br />
royal tomb and just by looking at it,<br />
you‘ll feel overwhelmed by its dignity.<br />
Celadon Ceramic Museum<br />
It is the Korea‘s first celadon ceramic museum<br />
and it was opened on May 15 th , <strong>2009</strong>. It<br />
was built next to the Clay Arch Museum on<br />
the 1.757 m 2 land lot. The building is two<br />
story high with one story basement. There is<br />
a ceramic oven in the front yard and visitors<br />
may watch the traditional ceramic processes<br />
and make ceramics on their own.<br />
Hanok Experience Center<br />
Gimhae Hanok experience center, a facility to<br />
experience our own traditional Hanok(Korean<br />
house) and to learn the wisdom of our ancestors,<br />
operates experiential programs. Foreign<br />
and local visitors may stay at the center. The<br />
center operates various traditional culture,<br />
folkcraft and traditional costume experience<br />
programs.<br />
