Assigning Properties to Columns
2 Access the list check information by taking one of the following actions:
– Double-click the column name in the data grid. The Column Info window appears. Select List
Check from the Column Properties drop-down menu, as shown in Figure 5.17.
– Right-click the column name (hold the CONTROL key and click the column name on the
Macintosh) and select Validation > List Check. The window in Figure 5.18 appears.
– Select Cols > Validation > List Check. The window in Figure 5.18 appears.

3 The list in the window contains values that JMP will accept. Use the table below to change the
values:
Action
Remove value(s) from the list
Add values to the list
Instructions
Highlight them and click the Remove button.
Type the values into the empty text box and click Add.
