Maintenance instructions
Shut off hot and cold water supply!
Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble in reverse order.
Thermostatic compact cartridge:
1. Loosen screw ring using a 34mm tool.
2. If necessary, lever out thermostatic cartridge via
recess.
3. Screw off screw ring.
Observe the correct installation position for the
thermostatic compact cartridge.
Thermo-element:
1. Lever out cap.
2. Loosen screw.
3. Pull off temperature selection handle.
4. Remove clip.
5. Pull off stop ring.
6. Pull off regulating nut with overload unit.
7. Unscrew and remove thermoelement using a 22mm
open-ended spanner.

The overload unit must be screwed as far as possible into
the regulating nut (left-hand thread).
Observe the correct installation position of the stop ring.
Non-return valve:
1. Lever out caps and unscrew and remove screws.
2. Pull off temperature selection handle and shut-off
handle.
3. Unscrew and remove screws and remove escutcheon.
4. Unscrew and remove non-return valve using a 17mm
open-ended spanner.
Headpart:
1. Lever out caps and unscrew and remove screws.
2. Pull off temperature selection handle and shut-off
handle.
3. Unscrew and remove screws and remove escutcheon.
4. Pull off splined adapter and economy stop.
5. Pull off sleeve.
6. Screw off bracket.
7. Unscrew and remove ceramic headpart using a 17mm
open-ended spanner.
Observe the correct installation position!
Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge (s. page T 38).
