Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge (s. page T 59)

Maintenance instructions
Shut off hot and cold water supply!
Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble
in reverse order.
Battery and electronic Cartridge:(Fig. left above):
The battery must be replaced 10 years after initial operation
of the fitting at the latest.
Batteries which are almost discharged are indicated by a
pulsating water jet.
1. Loosen screw.
2. Pull out cartridge with battery.
3. Take out battery, check and clean contacts, if
necessary replace battery.
4. Actuate cartridge once by pressing the pushbutton
cap.
5. Insert new battery.
6. The fitting is now in installation mode for 3 minutes; no
water flows on actuation.
7. Insert cartridge with battery in the fitting and fasten
using a screw.
8. Installation mode is terminated after 3 min. or by
pressing the pushbutton cap twice (double-click) within
2 s.
Solenoid Valve (Fig. right above):
1. Loosen screw and lever out cap.
2. Unscrew and remove screws.
3. Detach plug-in connector and pull out solenoid valve
using a suitable tool. Important: Solenoid valve must
not be tilted.
4. Screw off base, detach diaphragm.
5. Detach filter.
Check, clean and if necessary replace solenoid valve, diaphragm
and filter.
Observe the correct installation position.
Non-return valve:
1. Disassemble fitting.
2. Remove filters and seals.
3. Remove union nipple using a 12mm allen key by
turning clockwise (left-hand thread).
4. Remove non-return valve.
5. Screw off shower hose and remove non-return valve.
Thermo element:
1. Loosen screw and pull off cap.
2. Unscrew and remove screw and pull off scale handle.
3. Remove clip.
4. Pull off stop ring.
5. Pull off regulating nut with overload unit.
6. Unscrew and remove thermoelement using a 22mm
open-ended spanner.
The overload unit must be screwed as far as possible into
the regulating nut (left-hand thread).
Observe the correct installation position of the stop ring.
