Maintenance instructions<br />

Shut off hot and cold water supply!<br />

Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble in reverse order.<br />

Thermo-element:<br />

1. Unscrew and remove screw, remove cap, unscrew and<br />

remove screw and pull off temperature control handle.<br />

2. Screw off regulating nut, pull off complete stop ring<br />

with mixed water stop.<br />

3. Lever off cover ring.<br />

4. Unscrew and remove all six screws using a 3mm allen<br />

key.<br />

5. Screw three screws into the threaded holes in the<br />

flange on the thermoelement and in this way push the<br />

thermoelement out of the housing.<br />

6. Unscrew the three screws again.<br />

Non-return valve:<br />

1. Screw off cap.<br />

2. Unscrew and remove non-return valve with dirt strainer<br />

cartridge using a 10mm allen key.<br />

Thermal Desinfection:<br />

1. Unscrew and remove screw, remove cap.<br />

2. Pull out red safety stop to the stop.<br />

3. Turn temperature control handle to the hot water end<br />

stop.<br />

4. Open draw-off points and allow hot water at a<br />

minimum temperature of 70 °C to run for three<br />

minutes.<br />

5. Turn temperature control handle to the cold water end<br />

stop.<br />

6. Press red safety stop back in.<br />

7. Fit cap and replace screw.<br />

8. Set temperature control handle to the desired mixed<br />

water temperature.<br />

Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation<br />

on the thermostatic cartridge. (s. page T 38).<br />
