Maintenance Aquadimmer:
Grohtherm 2000: 34 174
Grohtherm 3000: 34 185
1. Lever out cap and unscrew and remove screw.
2. Pull off shut-off handle, splined adapter and stop.
3. Unscrew and remove Aquadimmer using a 19mm
open-ended spanner.
Observe the correct installation position!
1. The dissimilar pins must engage in the corresponding
holes in the housing.
2. Turn shut-off spindle of the Aquadimmer so that face
points to the front.
3. Fit stop so that the ridges align with the recesses on
the scale ring.

1. Lever out cap and unscrew and remove screw.
2. Pull off shut-off handle, splined adapter and stop.
3. Unscrew and remove Aquadimmer using a 19mm
open-ended spanner.
Observe the correct installation position.
1. The dissimilar pins must engage in the corresponding
holes in the race.
2. Fit stop so that the arrow aligns with the marking on
the housing.
3. Turn shut-off spindle of the Aquadimmer so that face
points to the front.
4. Fit splined adapter that the arrow aligns with the mar
king on the housing.
5. Fit shut-off handle making sure that button faces for
wards.
Grohtherm 3000: 19 665
1. Proceed as for maintenance of non-return valve,
points 1 - 4.
2. Remove splined adapter and stop.
3. Unscrew and remove Aquadimmer using a 19mm
open-ended spanner.
Observe the correct installation position.
1. The dissimilar pins must engage in the corresponding
holes in the housing.
2. Fit stop so that the arrow aligns with the marking on
the cap.
3. Turn shut-off spindle of the Aquadimmer so that face
points upwards.
4. Fit and turn splined adapter so that the arrow aligns
with the marking on the cap.
5. Fit shut-off handle making sure that button faces to the
right.
