Maintenance instructions<br />

Shut off hot and cold water supply!<br />

Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble in reverse order.<br />

Thermo-element:<br />

1. Loosen screw (A) and remove cap.<br />

2. Unscrew and remove screw (B) and pull off<br />

temperature control handle.<br />

3. Screw off regulating nut.<br />

4. Pull off stop ring.<br />

5. Unscrew and remove thermoelement using a 24mm<br />

open-ended spanner.<br />

Non-return valve:<br />

1. Disassemble mixer in reverse order, see Fig. [1].<br />

2. Remove dirt strainer.<br />

3. Remove union nipple using a 12mm allen key by<br />

turning clockwise (left-hand thread).<br />

4. Remove non-return valve.<br />

Headpart:<br />

1. Pull off arm lever.<br />

2. Pull off cover cap.<br />

3. Pull off stop ring.<br />

4. Loosen screw and pull off snap insert.<br />

5. Unscrew and remove ceramic headpart using a 17mm<br />

open-ended spanner and if necessary replace.<br />

Installation instruction:<br />

Note the following when fitting the stop ring.<br />

• Turn ceramic headpart spindle against the stop by<br />

turning clockwise.<br />

• Fit stop ring so that the stopping face is near the<br />

bevel, then turn anticlockwise and refit.<br />

Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation<br />

on the thermostatic cartridge. (s. page T 61)<br />
