Maintenance instructions
Shut off hot and cold water supply!
Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble in reverse order.
Thermo-element:
1. Lever out cap.
2. Unscrew and remove and pull off thermostat knob.
3. Unscrew and remove adjusting nut.
4. Pull off stop ring.
5. With a 24mm open-ended spanner, unscrew and
remove thermoelement.
Non-return valve:
1. Lever out caps (A) and (B).
2. Unscrew and remove screws (C) and (D), pull off
temperature control handle and shut-off handle.
3. Remove cap as illustrated.
4. Unscrew and remove screws and remove escutcheon.
5. Unscrew and remove non-return valve using a 17mm
socket spanner or 10mm allen key.
Headpart:
1. Proceed as for maintenance of non-return valve,
points 1 - 4.
2. Remove splined adapter and economy stop.
3. Remove sleeve and bracket.
4. Unscrew and remove ceramic headpart using a 17mm
open-ended spanner.
Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge. (s. Seite T 60).
