Maintenance instructions<br />

Shut off hot and cold water supply!<br />

Please perform disassembly in specified order. Assemble in reverse order.<br />

Thermo-element:<br />

1. Lever out cap.<br />

2. Unscrew and remove and pull off thermostat knob.<br />

3. Unscrew and remove adjusting nut.<br />

4. Pull off stop ring.<br />

5. With a 24mm open-ended spanner, unscrew and<br />

remove thermoelement.<br />

Non-return valve:<br />

1. Lever out caps (A) and (B).<br />

2. Unscrew and remove screws (C) and (D), pull off<br />

temperature control handle and shut-off handle.<br />

3. Remove cap as illustrated.<br />

4. Unscrew and remove screws and remove escutcheon.<br />

5. Unscrew and remove non-return valve using a 17mm<br />

socket spanner or 10mm allen key.<br />

Headpart:<br />

1. Proceed as for maintenance of non-return valve,<br />

points 1 - 4.<br />

2. Remove splined adapter and economy stop.<br />

3. Remove sleeve and bracket.<br />

4. Unscrew and remove ceramic headpart using a 17mm<br />

open-ended spanner.<br />

Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation<br />

on the thermostatic cartridge. (s. Seite T 60).<br />
