RPS sends letter to property owner with site specific requirements for modifying the<br />

wastewater/storm drainage main or denying the build-over request.<br />

RPS includes an estimate of fee for processing of the request.<br />

Developer signs and returns letter to RPS including the following:<br />

a. Payment of fee for administrative costs in excess of the deposit.<br />

b. Revised design document incorporating SPU preliminary comments prepared by a<br />

licensed engineer.<br />

c. Three sets of finalized plans and profiles showing impact details on<br />

wastewater/stormwater mainline.<br />

2. RPS routes revised plans to the <strong>Plan</strong> Reviewer.<br />

3. SPU <strong>Plan</strong> Reviewer coordinates comments to the property owner.<br />

4. RPS drafts a Consent Agreement for developer review, approval and acceptance.<br />

5. Developer submits a copy of signed Consent Agreement and approved plans to RPS.<br />

6. Once all changes are made and staff accepts the proposal, RPS schedules the build-over<br />

for <strong>City</strong> Council review and action.<br />

7. Upon <strong>City</strong> Council approval, the Developer submits a copy of signed Consent<br />

Agreement, approved plans and payment of current fees to DPD to obtain a sewer<br />

permit<br />

8. DPD and/or SDOT inspects construction of relocated or replaced drainage/wastewater<br />

main and obtains red-lined drawings. Before building occupancy, DPD must obtain SPU<br />

PMED final approval.<br />
