18.6.2 Director’s Rules<br />
Table 18-7 describes relevant Director’s Rules (DR’s) for <strong>Plan</strong> Review Staff. Director’s Rules are<br />
administratively approved and signed by <strong>City</strong> Department Directors. They are legally binding<br />
rules that clarify how SMC will be implemented and enforced. Most DR’s related to plan review<br />
are joint DPD and SPU Director’s Rules, and can be located in Table 18-7 or on DPD’s web site.<br />

18.6.3 Memoranda of Agreement and Understanding<br />
Memoranda of Agreement and Memoranda of Understanding are binding documents between<br />
a minimum of two parties. Often two or more Departments or Branches/Divisions within a<br />
Department will have a MOA or MOU. There is an Agreements Library located on PMED’s<br />
SharePoint site.<br />
