great escape from the casinos, claiming that no matter how many times they play<br />
it, they never get tired of it. The Palm Course has gently rolling fairways that<br />
offer golfers of all abilities a challenging yet forgiving layout. The Mountain<br />
Course has rolling natural terrain and gorgeous panoramic views. In addition<br />
to these two challenging 18-hole courses, Angel Park offers a night-lit Cloud 9<br />
Course (12 holes for daylight play, 9 at night), where each hole is patterned after<br />
a famous par-3. You can reserve tee times up to 60 days in advance with a creditcard<br />
guarantee.<br />

Bali Hai Golf Club One of the newest and most exclusive golf addresses<br />
belongs to this multimillion-dollar course built in 2000 on the Strip just south<br />
of Mandalay Bay. Done in a wild South Seas theme, the par-71 course features<br />
over 7 acres of water hazards, plus an island green, palm trees, and tropical<br />
foliage everywhere you look. Not impressed yet? How about the fact that all of<br />
its golf carts are equipped with Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) tracking systems.<br />
Or that celeb chef Wolfgang Puck chose to open his newest <strong>Vegas</strong> eatery<br />
here. Okay, if that doesn’t convince you of the upscale nature of the joint, check<br />
out the greens fees.<br />

Black Mountain Golf & Country Club Two new greens have recently been<br />
added to this 27-hole, par-72 semiprivate course, which requires reservations<br />
4 days in advance. It’s considered a great old course, with lots of wildlife, including<br />
roadrunners. However, unpredictable winds may affect your game.<br />
Yardage: 6,550 championship, 6,223 regular, and 5,518 ladies.<br />
Facilities: Pro shop, putting green, driving range, restaurant, snack bar, and<br />
cocktail lounge.<br />

Craig Ranch Golf Club Value This is a flat 18-hole, par-70 public course with<br />
many trees and bunkers; both narrow and open fairways feature Bermuda turf.<br />
The greens fees are a bargain, and you can reserve tee times 7 days in advance.<br />
Yardage: 6,001 regular and 5,221 ladies.<br />
Facilities: Driving range, pro shop, PGA teaching pro, putting green, and<br />
snack bar.<br />
