Decide which schools to apply for. Contact schools for prospectuses and details<br />

of open days/even<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

1 Sep 2012 Beg<strong>in</strong> apply<strong>in</strong>g for secondary schools. How to apply:<br />

1 Applications must be made us<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Common Application Form from your home borough<br />

by 31 October 2012. However, we strongly recommend that you submit your application<br />

onl<strong>in</strong>e or by post so that we receive it by Friday 26 October 2012. This is <strong>the</strong> Friday before<br />

<strong>the</strong> half-term holiday.<br />

• Applications received by Wednesday 31 October 2012 will be accepted. However, if your<br />

application is received by Friday 26 October 2012, we can ensure that it is checked, and<br />

acknowledged before <strong>the</strong> clos<strong>in</strong>g date.<br />

• Parents/carers who prefer to hand <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> form at <strong>the</strong>ir child’s primary school, will need to<br />

ensure that <strong>the</strong>y do this by Friday 26 October 2012, so that <strong>the</strong> school can forward it to us<br />

before <strong>the</strong> half-term holiday.<br />

• <strong>Lambeth</strong> residents must complete ei<strong>the</strong>r an onl<strong>in</strong>e or paper <strong>Lambeth</strong> Common<br />

Application Form. These are available from 1 September 2012.<br />

• To apply onl<strong>in</strong>e visit <strong>Lambeth</strong> <strong>Council</strong>’s website at www.lambeth.gov.uk/eadmissions<br />

(see page 5 for more <strong>in</strong>formation).<br />

• Paper Common Application Forms can also be downloaded from <strong>the</strong> website at<br />

www.lambeth.gov.uk/eadmissions or can be requested from <strong>Lambeth</strong> School Admissions<br />

Team on 020 7926 9503. These forms should ei<strong>the</strong>r be handed <strong>in</strong> to <strong>the</strong> Customer Service<br />

Centre, Olive Morris House, 18 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RD, or posted to <strong>Lambeth</strong> School<br />

Admissions Team, CYPS Service, 6th Floor, International House, Canterbury Crescent,<br />

London SW9 7QE.<br />

2 In addition to this supplementary <strong>in</strong>formation forms (SIF) required by particular schools must<br />

be completed and returned to <strong>the</strong>se schools by <strong>the</strong>ir published date. Please see schools’<br />

pages 15–59 for details of which <strong>Lambeth</strong> schools require SIFs. The <strong>Lambeth</strong> schools SIFs<br />

are located at <strong>the</strong> back of this booklet.<br />

31 Oct 2012 Clos<strong>in</strong>g date for applications to all secondary schools participat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> co-ord<strong>in</strong>ated<br />

admissions procedure. 26 October 2012 (ie, <strong>the</strong> Friday before half term) is <strong>the</strong> proposed<br />

London deadl<strong>in</strong>e.<br />

1 Mar <strong>2013</strong> National Offer Day. A letter will be posted on this day to all ‘on time’ applicants <strong>in</strong>form<strong>in</strong>g<br />

applicants which school, if any, has been offered. Letters will be sent to both onl<strong>in</strong>e applicants<br />

and those who have completed paper applications. In addition to this onl<strong>in</strong>e applicants will also<br />

be able to view <strong>the</strong> result of <strong>the</strong>ir application and accept an offer onl<strong>in</strong>e from 1 March <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

15 Mar <strong>2013</strong> Parents/carers must respond to an offer on this date by return<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> reply to<br />

<strong>Lambeth</strong> School Admissions Team.<br />

If you wish to appeal aga<strong>in</strong>st <strong>the</strong> decision not to offer your child a place at a <strong>Lambeth</strong><br />

community or voluntary controlled school, appeal forms should be submitted by this date to<br />

ensure appeals are heard before <strong>the</strong> autumn term. To obta<strong>in</strong> an appeal form, please contact<br />
