The availability/capacity factors reported are around 50% except for AUT-H2 in Austria (36.5%) and<br />

GRC-H2 in Greece (25%). The economic lifetimes <strong>of</strong> hydro power plants considered in the study vary<br />

from 30 years to 60 years.<br />

The levelised costs <strong>of</strong> hydroelectricity obtained with the cost elements provided by respondent countries<br />

are displayed in Figures 4.6 and 4.7 at 5% and 10% discount rate respectively and given in Tables 4.5<br />

and 4.6.<br />
