Mr. Porter,
Response to Public Comments
ITEM 1.
The Citrus Road under-crossing of US 50 provides 30 feet clearance and is 1.3 miles
from the site of the Rancho Cordova Parkway Interchange proposed site. It is an
alternative that has been ignored by every entity within SACOG.
Will you please take one hour to view it before you mistakenly ignore it and
recommend approval of the MTIP ?
ITEM2
Will you also view an existing shuttered roadway that could immediately alleviate traffic
congestion and air quality impacts on Sunrise Blvd? It is Citrus Road between
Folsom Blvd and Coloma Road and it goes under US 50 at the above mentioned
under crossing. It was unlawfully barricaded, through admission and documents from
Sacramento County's Fifth District and Fourth District.
So adverse are politicians to utilizing these infrastructures that they do not cause maps to
accurately reflect the existing reality. You must see it to believe it, although I am
attaching a recent Aeriel picture of Citrus Road.
You may verify with Lafco Director and Assistant Director who toured the areas a couple
of years ago.
The MTIP is causing great harm to area residents by ignoring usable infrastructure.
