The Town and R.M. of Bengough, located in the rolling hills of
southern Saskatchewan, welcomes visitors to our thriving
community which is minutes north of the Big Muddy Valley.
The Big Muddy Valley, lies approximately 1½ hours south of
Regina or Moose Jaw. As one of Canada’s untapped wonders
the valley will transport you to a time gone by: the days of Sitting
Bull and renegade outlaws; scenery created by prehistoric forces
that shaped the valley and the iconic Castle Butte.
Bengough offers a variety of recreational and cultural facilities; an
outdoor swimming pool, children’s playground, a challenging
9-hole sand green golf course,a museum rich in local history and
an art gallery.
The well treed Regional Park Campground, with 29 full-service
sites welcomes R.V.’s of all sizes. For those who desire alternative
accommodations, the Big Muddy Inn is located in Bengough and
there are B & B’s in the surrounding area.
