The Town of Oxbow is
Saskatchewan’s best kept secret!
Nestled in the southeast corner of
Saskatchewan, Oxbow is a thriving
and progressive community. Located
on primary highway # 18,
approximately forty minutes from the
U.S. and Manitoba border.
Bow Valley Park features: 20 Electric
campsites & 15 Non-Electric.
Children’s playground – Cookhouse –
Showers & Bathroom – Ball Diamonds.
Drinking water & dumping station is

Moose Creek Regional Park is located
4 miles North and 1.5 miles West of
Oxbow. There are 58 Full Service Sites,
and 33-30amp Electrical Sites
complete with picnic tables and fire
pits. Water, showers and washrooms
are available near the campsites.
Services include: dumping station,
boat launch, picnic tables, grills,
showers, and fish filleting shack.
Moose Creek offers many recreational
activities such as boating, fishing,
swimming, golfing, and a playground.

Two floating docks and concrete boat
launch permit access to the Reservoir
for some of the finest Perch, Walleye,
and Northern Pike fishing to be found
in the province. The reservoir has
some wind protection which has made
it a popular place for water skiing and
wakeboards.
Bow Valley Park is nestled in Souris
Valley. Bow Valley Park is located
south of Oxbow just off of Grid Road
603 in the valley. There are well-treed
camp sites with full services. The
Souris River runs along side the park.
The wide open park also has trails
perfect for your hiking adventure.
Moose Creek Regional Campground
Geo-caching is very popular in the
Oxbow area with over 100 caches
waiting to be found!
Bow Valley Campground
Located just south of Oxbow, the
Souris Valley and Souris River have
breath taking sceneries and are
relaxing retreats from the ordinary
hustle and bustle. Take a ride on the
Lady Souris, book a weekend camping
trip in the Bow Valley Park, or stop by
for a tranquil picnic!
Moose Creek Golf Course
challenges all golfers , with a
champion, men’s and ladies’ tee box
on every hole. This beautiful 9 hole
grass green winds around the
reservoir and ravines located in
Moose Creek Regional Park. A fully
equipped clubhouse is available to
all golfers for relaxing before or after
the game. Cart and club rentals are

Ralph Allen Memorial Museum
Once a soon to be abandoned C.P.R.
station, citizen’s of Oxbow banded
together to create a small prairie town
museum that has received national
attention from B.C. to New Brunswick.
The museum features arts, railroading,
oilfield industry as well as pioneer life.
The station has historical background
in that it was the former home of Ralph
Allen, one of Canada’s top-flight
journalist, war correspondent,
magazine editor and author.
