Many of the cafés, restaurants, diners,
eateries or dining spots have built a
solid reputation over the years. Patrons
from near and far swear by the menus
of places like the Rockin’ Horse
Cookhouse & Bar, Redmond House
B&B and Dining Establishment, the
Star Café & Grill in Maple Creek, or
Lumsden’s Brickhouse Bistro.
Others travel equally long distances to
sample the specialties of the Happy
Nun Café in Forget, Hollyhock Market
Natural Foods in Mortlach, or Café de
Paris in Gravelbourg.
And if you’re interested in a closer look
at how delights like wine get from vine
to table, be sure to visit the Cypress
Hills Vineyard & Winery, near Maple
Creek, where you can relax in their
bistro café after viewing the process,
tasting the product, and inspecting the
vineyard gift shop.

southern Saskatchewan of course,
along with fascinating antique marts
and myriad boutique and mall outlets.

Current, visit Kokopelli’s: Purveyors of
Neat Stuff (including curios, crystals
and gift items), and Et Cetera Et
Cetera, a gift boutique that’s described
as “a gift boutique that defies
description”!
Distinctly unique Saskatchewan gifts
are specialties of Bend in the River
Berries in Moose Jaw, and Prairie
Cherry Corner (Over the Hill certified
organic orchards) in Lumsden.
Many times, half the fun of traveling is

weekend getaway or a major family
holiday (maybe even with the horse or

bring your RV, you’ll have a long and
varied list of choices at provincial and
regional parks and private venues,
offering full hook-ups right down to

choice is yours!

while on vacation will be delighted with

Visiting southern Saskatchewan is
almost like taking a trip around the
world, or a scamper back in time. And
yet, when you’re in our ‘fun zone’,
you’re never far from the warmth of
small-town friendliness and big-city

Everything is an easy drive, to and
from all the things you like best to see
and do.
Saskatchewan is the province that’s
down to earth, where the sky’s the
limit. And as we always say -- you
CAN get here from there. No matter
