Chilly’s Pub & Grill and Crab Shack for
delicious fish, seafood, steaks, pastas,
and burgers, topped off with sweet
treats from the Ice Cream Parlor.
No matter where you travel in southern
Saskatchewan, you’ll find special
“forget-me-not” items of all kinds in all
price ranges, so you can take home
a memento of this wonderful place
and your unforgettable time here. At
Prairie Cherry Corner in Lumsden,
after enjoying a tasty meal (including
wheat-free items) and cherry treats
for dessert, make your choice of ideal
gifts from Over the Hill Orchards (or
take an orchard tour from May through
September.)
Gifts in the “out of the ordinary”
category can be found in Strasbourg
at Every Little Thing, where you’re
encouraged to treat yourself, as well as
friends and family back home, with a
wide variety of novelties, clothing and
delightful décor for home or cottage.
Many people feel that the most
delightful holiday possible involves
driving as far as possible along
the length of the Qu’Appelle Valley,
preferably without any timelines or
agendas involved. For them, the fun
of a vacation is the trip itself -- even
though destinations along the way
can be wonderful too! Stopping at
the South Katepwa RV Park, nestled
below the hills at the southern end
of Katepwa Lake, with a panoramic
view to the north, is heaven for
many travelers. Near Craven, on the
Qu’Appelle River, the Craven World
Campground provides full service,
pull-through and tenting sites. The
campground also has a ball diamond,
horseshoe pit, and playground for the
kids. In Indian Head, the Indian Head
Campground offers full hook-up RV
sites, large pull-through sites and tent
and cabin camping as well. There’s
also a heated swimming pool and
free Wi-Fi Hi-speed internet access
available throughout the park!
“Stay and Play” at Sunday’s Log
Cabins, located at Katepwa’s main
beach, just steps away from the
Katepwa Beach Golf Club, the store,
and restaurant. And if B&Bs are your
accommodation of choice while on
holiday, you’ll have many choices,
including eclectic bed & breakfast in
Lumsden, offering “Build a Romance”
packages, golf packages, “Murder
Mystery” dinner parties, and retreats.
For more details see
Lumsden also boasts Hummingbird
Manor Bed & Breakfast, with three
guest rooms, a front deck, backyard
patio and garden.
It’s an “amazing place” – the
Qu’Appelle Valley. Just waiting to
welcome you and share some of the
best fun and most delightful relaxation
you’ve ever experienced -- perhaps in
ways that you never expected!
• Easy access for RVs–no need to back into tight spots here!
• Electric and water hookups at each site
• Picnic table at each site
• Tenting and picnic area
• Full Washroom / Shower facilities
• Firepits are available and we sell firewood
• Ice is also for sale at the Office
• Internet access
• The main beach at Katepwa Point Provincial Park for
swimming and boat access is only an eight minute drive
We provide a family-friendly vacation spot where you can
build your own wonderful memories of summers at Katepwa
Lake. With so many things to do, we know that you will
enjoy a wonderful vacation experience at the South
Katepwa RV Park.
We’re at the south end of Katepwa Lake (south of Hwy 56).
From Regina, head east on Highway 1. Turn North on
Highway 56 at Indian Head. Follow Highway 56 North and
then east until you reach the turn off to the park. Turn right
and you are there!
