Stoughton of Nestled in the heart of the southeast, Stoughton is a friendly and welcoming community situated at the crossroads of Highways 13, 33 and 47 – hence our slogan “The Crossroads of Friendship”. For the history buff, the Stoughton Museum will take you down Main Street in the early 1900’s. You might even recognize some of the characters waiting to serve you there! If it’s golf you’re interested in, then try out our 9-hole grass greens course. After a round of golf, stop in for refreshments at the Clubhouse. At the Stoughton Fairgrounds, you can cool off by taking a dip in our swimming pool or just relax in the spa. Not far from the swimming pool is an RV park with electrified sites, water & sewer hook-ups and bathrooms with showers. There’s plenty of space for tenters, too. Call the town office about a site – 306-457-2413. July 1st meet us at Taylor Park for Canada Celebrations. There are kids games, speeches, burgers and cake for dessert!! We end the evening with spectacular fireworks. During the summer get ready for Stoughton Daze. Our annual event kicks off with a pancake breakfast followed by a parade down Main Street. Events take place all day at the Fairgrounds. Take a stroll through Taylor Memorial Park – there is a playground for the kids to play in while you relax in the shade or enjoy a picnic. We have a Southeast Regional Library branch with computers for keeping in contact with everyone at home. The library is located in the Stoughton Town Office at 232 Main Street. If winter is your time to visit, Stoughton has much to offer. A new, three sheet The Crossroads Friendship Curling Rink is now in operation, come down and bonspiel. There are minor hockey teams as well as a recreational hockey team that will be playing our national sport in the skating rink all winter. Groomed snowmobile trails come right by the edge of town. Let it snow, let it snow! Come for day, a week or just come to stay!
