A thermoelectric converter consists <strong>of</strong> .several thous<strong>and</strong> semiconductors<br />

filled with germanium-silicon alloy, arranged on the<br />

outer surface <strong>of</strong> the reactor housihg, having a temperature <strong>of</strong><br />

10000C. <strong>The</strong> thermoelectric generator has four groups, -each Of which<br />

includes four parallel circuits <strong>of</strong>therinoelements. I<strong>The</strong> power<strong>of</strong><br />

the converter is N = 500 W with a current intensity <strong>of</strong> I = 88 A.<br />

Heat removal is effected by cooling fins. <strong>The</strong> operating time <strong>of</strong><br />

the installation is 4000 hourý. <strong>The</strong> desipn <strong>of</strong> separate elements <strong>of</strong><br />

the installaticn is shown in Fig. 13.99.<br />
