4.2. AEA[ EXCHANGE EQUIPM1ENT<br />

.As was shown, in-Chapter III, the thermal energy obtained in<br />

any energy source (for example, in a nuclear reactor) goes into<br />

heating the working medium <strong>and</strong> obtaining vapor which drives the steam<br />

turbine .<strong>and</strong> the electrical generator connected with it. Such a<br />

power cycle <strong>of</strong> convepting thermal energy until electrical is not<br />

possible without a continuous heut supply from the energy source to<br />

the receiver. Energy transfer can be effected directly by the<br />

1working medium (heat transfer agent), but more frequently it is<br />

performed in heat exchange equipment with the aid <strong>of</strong> a heating<br />

<strong>and</strong> a heated transfer-agent.,<br />

Based on the type <strong>of</strong> thermal process, heat exchange equipment<br />
