MARATHON
The City of St. George hosts the annual St. George Marathon which is administered through the Leisure Services Department. The
event is held the first weekend of October and is open to a maximum of approximately 7,400 runners selected through a lottery
system. The St. George Marathon is over 30-years old and is rated as one of the most scenic and fastest marathons in the USA. It
attracts participants from all over the United States and other countries and is also a Boston-marathon qualifier.
