PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATION
The Public Works Administration Department is responsible for the general supervision, administrative support, long-range planning,
and short-term project coordination of the Streets, Engineering, Airport, Drainage Control, and Transit divisions. The Public Works
Department's goal is to enhance the quality of life in St. George through excellence in professionalism, services, and effective
management of the infrastructure for the public and city organization. The vision statement of Public Works is: "We will meet
community needs by being helpful, competent and worthy of trust. We will foster cooperation and teamwork with every employee
empowered to work as a member of the team to improve the way we provide our services."
