FIRE<br />
The Fire Department provides emergency response services including fire, rescue, EMS/medical along with Hazardous Materials and<br />
specialized rescue. The department also provides fire prevention, code enforcement/inspection and plan reviews along with fire<br />
investigations. The department is in charge <strong>of</strong> the regional bomb/hazardous device response team. The department has a staffing <strong>of</strong><br />
one hundred (100) full-time and reserve staff responding from eight (8) fire stations located throughout the city. The department has<br />
mutual aid agreements with all cities, fire departments and/or fire districts located in Washington County along with being one <strong>of</strong> the<br />
lead agencies in the five county Southwest Regional Response Team which provides hazardous-materials response to the five-county<br />
area.<br />
