REGIONAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM<br />
The Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant treats sewage from <strong>St</strong>. <strong>George</strong>, Washington <strong>City</strong>, Santa Clara, and Ivins. The facility<br />
currently processes about 9.5 million gallons each day. The plant utilizes an oxidation ditch/extended aeration process that uses<br />
physical and biological processes to clean the water. The facility has a 97-98% removal <strong>of</strong> the contaminants in the water.<br />
