AIRPORT PFC FUND
The Airport Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) Program allows the collection of PFC fees for every enplaned passenger at commercial
airports controlled by public agencies. Airports use these fees to fund FAA-authorized projects that enhance safety, security, or capacity;
reduce noise; or increase air carrier competition. Participation in the PFC Program is done through an application process in which the
FAA determines the maximum amount of fees that can be collected under each Application Number.
