DIXIE CENTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
In October 1997, the City Council authorized participation in the I-15 (Dixie Center) Economic Development project which allows the St.
George Redevelopment Agency to collect tax increment from the Dixie Center project area. Tax Increment revenues are authorized to
be used in funding land acquisition, roadways, and other utility infrastructure improvements which foster economic development. The
district was invoked January 1, 2006 and has a twelve-year term.
