·Collect, record, document and enter all data into process database as required.
·Set up, calibrate and maintain all tools, equipment, systems, processes and machines
which are used to perform work.
·Maintain, service, calibrate, repair, or create gauges and standards as required.
·Prepare work orders and/or purchase requisitions to maintain adequate inventory levels.
·Confirm operational/technical questions with Leader or designate when necessary.
Qualifications:
·Graduate of Metallurgical Engineering Technologist program or equivalent experience
·Experience in sample preparation of ferrous alloys
·Ability to operate Rockwell and micro-hardness testers
·Knowledge in microscopic evaluation of steel
·Familiarity with use of acids for micro and macro etching
·Background with chemical and fluid analysis would also be an asset

·Able to work midnight, afternoon or day shifts and/or week-end overtime and/or
continental shifts
·Pass security assessment including criminal back ground check
·Pass physical abilities testing

Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient operation of all
plant maintenance functions at our Westminster, CA facility. The incumbent will perform
essential job functions relating to all maintenance department issues under minimal
supervision.
Requirements (Qualifications & Skills):
¨ Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced training in electrical,
maintenance, etc. preferred.
¨ Five years experience in heat treating industry and maintenance.
¨ Must possess the skills to effectively supervise and direct the work of maintenance
department employees.
¨ Must have general knowledge of hydraulics and furnaces and be able to read and interpret
blueprints.
¨ Must have experience with welding, cutting, brazing, etc., and working knowledge of
electricity.
¨ Language skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
¨ Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, lift, climb, stand and stoop.
¨ Work Environment: Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, fumes, etc.
¨ Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
¨ May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends, and be on call as
needed.
