diameter and door opening is 28"W x 19"H. Hearth plate is 32". Furnace has a temperature<br />
range of 1200-F to 1800-F. Furnace is electrically heated with ceramic fiber insulation.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re is a roof mounted fan. <strong>The</strong> atmosphere seal consist of a dual seal (oil on the outer<br />
and sand on the inner). Power requirements are 480V/3 Phase/380 Amps/275 kW. Furnace<br />

box. Four zone preheat is 16' long with an alloy muffle and heating elements located above<br />
and below the muffle. High heat section (4 zones) is 20' long with a silicon carbide "D"<br />

Following the high heat section is 4’ long free cool then 12' long water jacketed cooling<br />
section."Varicool"convection cooling unit with rotary injectors provide more rapid cooling<br />
and can be used with cooling atmosphere. A 3 door enclosure houses all the temperature<br />
controls. Honeywell UMC 800 PLC with operator interface controls all functions of the<br />
furnace. Furnace has 8 zones of control, 4 preheat and 4 high heat. Each zone has an<br />
Abbott SCR power control and a Honeywell UDC 2300 high limit control. Three amp meters<br />
for each zone are flush mounted in the door of the enclosure. High limit contactors, belt<br />
