Exhibit A would be the latest numbers from Metal Treating Institute (MTI) http://www.heattreat.net/ which recently reported that amongst their members YTD sales for the heat treating industry were down 8.5% from the previous three month period in 2012. This decline was reflected in every area of the US and Canada with the exception of the Pacific Coast which saw a very modest increase of 2%. More anecdotal evidence comes from our captive and commercial heat treating friends across the continent who virtually without exception report slowing growth. This is most obvious in the auto industry which while still busy has slowed to some extent and the oil and gas industries in the southern US which has also slowed slightly. BUT the kicker is that nobody is panicking, everybody expects that the slowdown will be relatively modest and that by the end of the year things will be picking up. So folks this is not 2009 part II but rather a relatively modest slowdown which is not unexpected after the torrid growth most heat treaters have been seeing over the past year.
