• Receiving and responding to phone inquires from customers and potential customers<br />

• Sales calls on current and potential customers<br />

• Customer feedback interviews / surveys<br />

• Developing relationships with current / potential customers<br />

• Customer Service Inquires<br />

• Partnering with employees at the plant level to monitor progress of work to meet<br />

customer expectations<br />

• Project Management<br />

• Clarification of customer requirements<br />

• Performs other tasks as assigned<br />

Summary: Working in a heat treatment facility offering several heat treatment services<br />

such as Austemper, Ferritic Nitro Carburizing, Lindure, Non-Ferrous Alloys, Non-Ferrous<br />

Alloys, Vacuum <strong>Heat</strong> <strong>Treat</strong>ment2, Annealing, Brazing, Carbonitriding, Carburizing,<br />

Hardening & Tempering, Specialty Services, and Tool Steel. Responsible for ensuring that<br />

products/materials/services supplied/provided to customers meet the contractual<br />

requirements established by customers and procedures. This position is also required to<br />

assure that quality programs are maintained which will allow a consistent quality standard<br />

to be maintained. He/she has the organizational freedom to identify problems related to<br />

quality and correct, initiate action for their correction, or stop any work or activity that<br />

violates the established quality standards. This position is as much strategic as it is<br />

tactical, very hands on.<br />

• Education: Metallurgical/Material Sciences Degree or related degree preferred.<br />

Equivalent experience may be acceptable.<br />

• Experience: Requires experience and practical knowledge of commercial heat<br />

treatment of aerospace alloys including steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, brass,<br />

copper, etc.
