<strong>Potsdam</strong> Municipal Airport - Master Plan – Phase 1 Report<br />
Federal and state designated wetlands are mapped on airport property and in the area<br />
surrounding the Airport (see Figures 2-12 and 2-13). State regulated Wetlands are<br />
located on the northern and eastern sides of the airport site. Information from the St.<br />
Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWD) also indicates that<br />
there are hydric soils present throughout much of the airport site that “would be<br />
indicative of additional federal wetlands.” The NYSDEC states that “potential long<br />
term airport expansion could be impacted by these regulated resources” and that<br />
“evaluation of these potential impacts should take place in a<strong>ny</strong> long term planning.”<br />
