1 Item No. 1:- Excavation for foundation in earth, soils of all Bd.A.1 259 a) The item includes removal of stone, brick masonry of old
types, sand gravel and soft murum including removing the
structure, if any during excavation. b) The size viz length,,
excavated materials upto a distance of 50 metres beyond the
width and depth of excavation shown on drawing are
building area and all lift, stacking and spreading, necessary

Bd.A.12 264 a) The size of trap rubble should be 80mm b) The sand
required to till the voids in the soling shall be dry and spread
uniformly over the soling and brushed and washed to fill the
interstices fully. c) The metal soling shall be laid and the
voids in the metal layer shall be filled with hand rammer so
as to achieve compact surface. d) The contract rate shall be
for one cubic metre of the compacted layer of metal soling
duly filed in the voids with sand. No extra payment shall be
made for filling voids with sand.
