a) The surface to be plastered shall be first cleaned
thoroughly and wetted for 24 hours and got checked by the
Engineer In charge before starting the work. The finishing
shall be plain and in line and level. b) curing shall be done
by sprinkling water on the surface for a minimum period of
14 days. c) Sand used for plastering should be free from silt
and other foreign material and should be washed before

distemper of approved colour, shade and quality to the old /
new surface, in two coat including scaffolding preparing the
surfaces (including primer coat) etc. complete.
19 Item No. 19:- Providing and applying waterproof cement paint
of approved colour and shade to existing surface in two coats,
including scaffolding preparing the surface to receive paint
applying putty etc. complete. (including primer coat)
20 Item No. 20:- Providing and fixing self imported roofing
systems, made of imported galterinume steel, including cobo
modules 2 get 14 feet sunlight with one furmica 2 inches
indicator to be installed at every 30 feet along with the length
of building and supply of hanger / clamps as per proflex
standard, completing to ASTM A792 standard etc. complete.

369 a) The work should be carried out as per instruction of
Engineer in charge and wording of item. b) The item rates
includes the cost of water proofing compound to be used at
the rate 1 kilograms per bag of cement. c) The sand face
treatment shall be applied in two coats ( base coat of 15
mm thick keeping surface rough and sand face treatment 8
mm thick, total 23mm thick. The grains shall be taken
uniformly. d) The items includes providing 50mm x 12mm
drip moulding in chajjas, canopies, and window top of water
closet etc. without extra cost to government. e) Curing shall
be done by sprinkling water on the surface for a minimum
period of 14 days. Plastered surface shall be immediately
covered after finishing, application of water shall be started
only after final setting time of cement.
