(15) Verify that “SAVE AND CONTINUE” is highlighted, then press enter.<br />

(16) Verify that “horizontal line” plot is displayed with no “spikes” or<br />

“waviness”, then press enter.<br />

(17) Verify that the dioptric plot is automatically displayed. Note: The plot<br />

should be in tangential mode and standard scale. If sagittal is indicated, press (Alt) + F1<br />

to change to tangential. If standard scale is not indicated, press (~) (tilda key) and select<br />

standard scale.<br />

(18) Verify that Ks and Kf are within specification listed in Table 8-3.<br />

(19) Press (Esc) twice.<br />

(20) Repeat steps 1-19 for remaining steel balls. Note: If the steel ball image has<br />

bad detection lines, go to “adjust parameter”, then change detection threshold to 8 and<br />

radius variance to 0.6 by pressing the page down key<br />

(21) Is system does not meet specifications, contact your Alcon representative for<br />

calibration service.<br />
