Corneal and fluorescein photography are performed according to the protocols<br />

outlined in Chapters 10 and 11 <strong>of</strong> this Operations Manual, and the exposed film is<br />

In all Clinics without TMS devices, videokeratographic raw data are collected<br />

and stored on-site at the Participating Clinic.<br />

5.5 Annual (Follow-up) Visits<br />

Annual Visits are scheduled using the Baseline Visit date as the reference point,<br />

according to the schedule provided by the <strong>Coordinating</strong> <strong>Center</strong>. Three Annual Visits<br />

are scheduled at the end <strong>of</strong> year 1, year 2, and year 3, for a total <strong>of</strong> at least four<br />

measurement sessions per patient. The protocol for Annual Visits is identical to that for<br />

the Baseline Visit.<br />

5.6 Repeat Visits<br />

Ten patients per Participating Clinic are selected randomly by the <strong>Coordinating</strong><br />

<strong>Center</strong> for repeat visits to evaluate the reproducibility <strong>of</strong> CLEK Study measurement<br />

techniques and protocols. Participating Clinics are notified by the <strong>Coordinating</strong> <strong>Center</strong><br />

immediately following a patient’s Baseline Visit that the patient should return within 2
