EPMC SERVICES FOR REWARI – KANPUR PIPELINE<br />

SCOPE OF WORK–PIPELINE LAYING AND ASSOCIATED WORKS<br />

1. INTRODUCTION<br />

1.1. M/s Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) (Owner) proposes to lay an onshore multi<br />

product petroleum pipeline of 18” NB and approximately 441 KM long, from Rewari Dispatch<br />

terminal to Kanpur Receipt Terminal.<br />

The pipeline shall be designed to handle Motor Spirit (MS), High Speed Diesel (HSD), and<br />

Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO).<br />

The proposed onshore pipeline shall consist of pumping and metering facilities at proposed<br />

product dispatch terminal at Rewari. Product receiving facilities are proposed at Kanpur. Enroute<br />

11 nos. of Sectionalising Valve (SV) stations is proposed. Provision of future pumping<br />

facilities shall be kept at Bharatpur and Saiyyadpur Pran Terminal.<br />

The major systems <strong>com</strong>prising this project are modifications/ tie-ins at existing Rewari station,<br />

Receipt/Dispatch station with pumping facilities at Rewari, Intermediate Pigging/Pumping<br />

(Future) Station at Bharatpur, Intermediate Receipt station at Mathura, Intermediate Pigging /<br />

Pumping (Future) Station at Saiyyadpur Pran, receipt station at Kanpur, multi-product pipeline<br />

between the dispatch station and each existing terminal to receipt station.<br />

The products shall be made available to this pipeline either from existing MDPL operating from<br />

Mundra end and/or from Guru Gobind Singh Refinery (GGSR) at Raman Mandi, Punjab.<br />

1.2. The <strong>com</strong>plete work has been divided into two parts as indicated below. The limit of each part has<br />

been indicated in schematic drawing no. MH2145-C000-PL-DSD-0001<br />

a) Part I (Rewari to SV-06)<br />

Approx. CH.- (Start) 00+000.00 km to 227+706.89 km on Rewari Kanpur Route.<br />

This section covers the laying of 18”NB, approx. 228.555 km long pipeline and associated<br />

facilities from approximate CH. – 00+000 km (Dispatch Terminal at Rewari) to approximate CH<br />

227+706 km (including SV-06 Staion at Supawasa).<br />

b) Part II (SV-06 to Kanpur)<br />

Approx. CH. - . 227+706.89 km to 441+118.48 km on Rewari Kanpur Route.<br />

This section covers the laying of 18”NB, approx. 214.235 km long pipeline and associated<br />

facilities from approximate CH. 227+706 km near Supawasa (excluding SV-06) to approximate<br />

CH. 441+118 km (Receipt Terminal at Kanpur) including IP station at Sayyadpur Pran<br />
