There are many natural beaches in<br />
Cat Ba, the most popular ones are Cat<br />
Co I, II, III, Cat Dua, Cat Ong... They are<br />
pretty, small and discreet beaches<br />
with white sand. The water is high<br />
salinity and crystal clear.<br />
Lan Ha Bay<br />
Lan Ha is a bay located in the southeast<br />
of Cat Ba archipelago - a giant arc<br />
surrounded by hundreds of large and<br />
small islands, forming an enormous<br />
natural picture. Unlike Ha Long, islands<br />
in Lan Ha bay are covered with green<br />
trees or vegetation. A peaceful sea<br />
with small fishing villages, living separated<br />
from the rest of the world. In the<br />
bay, there are hundreds of small white<br />
sandy beaches, beside the coral reefs<br />
which are ideal for swimming, diving<br />
and snorkeling.<br />
Pháo đài Thần Công trên cao điểm 177 của quần đảo Cát Bà, ngay gần<br />
trung tâm của khu du lịch. Từ pháo đài Thần Công, khách tham quan có<br />
thể thưởng ngoạn toàn cảnh hùng vĩ của quần đảo Cát Bà từ bốn<br />
hướng. Những chứng tích lịch sử còn được lưu lại là hai khẩu pháo thần<br />
công, nhiều vỏ đạn các loại, một hệ thống đài quan sát và hầm hào<br />
phức tạp được xây dựng ngay trên đỉnh núi còn nguyên vẹn dù đã trải<br />
qua chiến tranh và thời gian. Tại đây còn có một phòng trưng bày các<br />
hiện vật thời chiến tranh và một quán cafe lộng gió..<br />
Pháo đài Thần Công được mệnh danh là điểm vọng cảnh ngoạn mục nhất<br />
Việt Nam.<br />
The Cannon Fortress<br />
The Cannon Fortress is located on the peak no 177 of Cat Ba Island,<br />
adjacent to the center of Cat Ba town. From the Cannon fortress<br />
visitors can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Cat Ba Island from<br />
all directions. The historical evidence is also shown by two cannons,<br />
many kinds of bullet shells; a system of trenches and observatory<br />
complex built right on top of the mountain which remained intact<br />
despite decades of wars and time. There is also a gallery of artifacts<br />
during the war and a windy open-air cafeteria.<br />
The Cannon Fortress is considered to be one of the most spectacular<br />
landscape viewpoints in Vietnam.<br />
