The Whitehall Funds<br />
The Whitehall Funds are a family <strong>of</strong> opportunistic real estate funds sponsored<br />
and managed by Goldman Sachs. The Funds invest in real estate companies,<br />
projects, loan portfolios, debt recapitalizations and direct property.<br />
Since its inception in 1991, Goldman Sachs, through <strong>the</strong> <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Principal<br />
Investment Area (REPIA), has raised approximately $16 billion <strong>of</strong> equity in<br />
several funds, including its latest fund, Whitehall 2005, with committed capital<br />
<strong>of</strong> $3.2 billion.<br />

$70 billion in total cost across 20 countries including <strong>the</strong> U.S., Canada,<br />
U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Hong Kong and<br />
Thailand.<br />
REPIA is a team <strong>of</strong> dedicated Goldman Sachs pr<strong>of</strong>essionals, with <strong>the</strong> business<br />
experience and <strong>the</strong> local market knowledge required to identify and understand<br />
opportunities and to structure complex transactions. REPIA has approximately<br />
